Meet BoBo!
BoBo was found wandering around a Domino's parking lot. Not sure if he was a stray or possibly dumped. Covered in fleas and on the skinny side. But since joining ITAV rescue he is flea free and putting on some weight.
BoBo may be around a couple years old. He is a cute little package with his short legs and "Big" dog head and bark. Roughly 20lbs. He has spurts of energy and flies like superman jumping from the couch to the ottoman. He loves to play with toys and will drag all of them out of the toy box to play with. BoBo is a funny boy. After play time BoBo is content napping next to you or gazing out the window. He seems to enjoy other dogs as he is currently living with two small dogs. He is also working on his manners with the resident cat. Showing much improvement in the last couple of weeks. BoBo enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood. He will need some work in that department as he does tend to pull some, but he has been improving. To earn BoBo’s trust, treats are the key. BoBo is very food driven which helps with training. He does use a slow feeder for his meals as he eats like every meal is his last. That may have to do with his past. BoBo is a very loving boy once he gets to know you. He can be slow to warm up. If you are patience with him and allow him the time to get to know you, he will love you forever.
I became friendly with time with the resident cat.
BoBo is crate and house trained. Can make a work day with no accidents. He likes to be tucked in at night in his bed and will stay there all night. He really is a good boy waiting for a family.
