Mimosa’s love language is words of affirmation! Verbal encouragement really helps her in new situations. Mimosa takes her time to warm up to new situations and new people, but once she trusts you she will be the most loyal best friend you’ve ever had. Mimosa is equally happy to join you on a walk or relax with you on the couch. Mimosa has a happy, playful energy and loves to learn new things. Mimosa’s perfect home will be with someone who will be patient as she adjusts to her new life.

I think Mimosa would do best in a home with older children because she doesn’t like people reaching out and grabbing at her. Little kids running around and grabbing at her might scare her. Mimosa would do best with a calm dog around her size. Dogs who are very energetic or very forward with their body language will need to be slowly introduced to her. Mimosa is actually not a very fearful dog, she just hasn’t been exposed to many things so she’s cautious in new situations.
