S'mores, who I've been calling Cookie or Cookie Monster, is a 1.5-2 year old Beagle/Jack Russell (maybe?) mix. She is a long-legged beauty and will be an absolutely wonderful family dog. she has been a joy. I doubt she's ever lived in a house before, so we are working on those little things that need to be taught, like toilet training, not jumping on people or furniture, eating slowly, etc, but she's picking it up very quickly. We're currently working on crate training, leash walking and being left alone longer periods while foster mom works. She likes to be with her people so someone who isn’t gone too long is best.
She is a gentle girl and it wouldnt concern me about introducing her to anyone of any age. In addition, she's not too heavy, so she shouldn't be an issue for younger kids to walk either. As far as other dogs, she gets along very well with my other foster, a Pit Bull, and doesn't even react negatively toward my neighbors very yappy little dog. Cats are still an unknown though.
