Stanley is 25 lbs and 1 year old. He’s all legs with a sleek build and shiny black coat with the coolest brindle highlights. Pics don’t do him justice. Mom is Boston terrier chihuahua mix and dad unknown. He was adopted at 7 weeks to a first time dog couple. He was loved but returned for not liking children. What we have learned Stanley has a lack of confidence and is fine with kids once he knows they won't hurt him. He currently is being walked by the neighbors kids once a day. He is a shyer bean and takes a few minutes to warm up to new people but once he does he loves to be snuggled, chased in a game of tag , and just be by your side. Little kids coming at him full speed would throw him for a loop. He will bark at people he doesn’t know until he feels they are not a threat. Treats help and after 2 minutes he is fine.
He lives with cats. He’s with dogs in foster and seems to like them a lot. A playful confident dog would be wonderful with him. He is learning to share toys (only child syndrome)
he is house trained and does not need to be crated. Does not chew
its very important his next home is his last home Dogs surrendered mourn the loss of their family. He cannot take that loss again
